Chemical (Process) Engineering Graduate
Contract duration: 3 months extendable up to 12 months
The Candidates main task will be to assist with the update of the terminal safe operating envelope (SOE) documentation. This will involve gathering design and operation data and cross checking against control system alarm and trip settings. Additionally they will gain experience in performing a variety of tasks including;
the assessment of LNG cargo quality
sense checking of raw analysis data
LNG weathering and nitrogen ballasting calculations
compilation of data required for regulatory reporting
assisting in the preparation of procedures
using technical knowledge to perform calculations
The Candidate will be expected to provide support to the Compliance & Process Engineer and the Operations & Maintenance team.
This placement aims to provide Graduates with real life experience in the process industry and in particular the operation of a LNG regasification terminal. We believe that Graduates will gain essential knowledge and skills that will lead them to a bright future.
B Eng. / M Eng. in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
Computer literate and familiar with MS Office Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good interpersonal and organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Previous experience within a similar role may be advantageous
